In 2022, a regional telecommunications contractor in Philippines launched a fiber optic network expansion to improve broadband coverage in suburban and semi-rural areas. The project required a ducting system suitable for long-distance cable installation, with low friction, stable dimensions, and reliable performance under tropical climate conditions.

EXLON PIPE supplied HDPE silicon-core pipes and compatible microducts customized to the contractor’s pulling and blowing equipment specifications. Based on the project layout, we adjusted pipe coil lengths and inner surface requirements to improve installation efficiency and reduce joint frequency on site. Technical documentation and installation guidance were provided before shipment to support local construction teams.
We also supplied a small quantity of pre-assembled microduct bundles (4-, 6- and 12-way options) and silicon-core duct sizes chosen to match the contractor’s standard blown-fibre cable profiles. All production batches were issued with dimensional tolerance sheets and inner-surface inspection reports; where requested, we added sequential labeling and color coding on coils to simplify inventory and site staging.

During later stages of the rollout, several route adjustments were required due to coordination with local utilities and road access constraints. EXLON PIPE supported these changes by quickly confirming revised duct lengths and supplying short-run coils and additional couplers without affecting the overall delivery schedule. This flexibility helped the contractor adapt to on-site conditions without redesigning the entire duct layout.
The supplied duct system allowed smoother cable blowing over extended distances, helping the contractor maintain installation progress despite a tight construction schedule. Stable product quality and consistent deliveries ensured uninterrupted work across multiple sections of the network. The project contributed to improved digital connectivity for surrounding communities while establishing a reliable foundation for future network upgrades.
